Catacloud updates payment status and fetches bank transactions and balances automatically at fixed times throughout the day. If you're wondering why a payment or a bank transaction hasn't appeared yet, it's often because the next sync hasn't run. Here are the times and what happens in the different situations.
Payment synchronisation
Payment status is synced several times a day, at these times:
01:30
06:30
10:00
12:00
14:00
16:00
18:00
Fetching bank transactions and balances
Bank transactions and balances are fetched automatically at these times:
02:00
03:00 (repeats automatically if an earlier run fails)
04:00 (repeats automatically if an earlier run fails)
05:00 (repeats automatically if an earlier run fails)
This ensures the data is updated even if one sync should fail.
When you create a new bank consent
When a new bank consent is created, bank transactions are fetched back to the time of the last successful synchronisation.
If you experience missing transactions on a bank integration via ZTL (open banking), the solution is to remove the consent and create a new one – or update the existing one. Catacloud then synchronises with the bank again, and the missing transactions come into the system.
When you create a bank reconciliation
The system tries to fetch all transactions for the relevant month – as far as this is available from the bank.
Bank reconciliations must be created in chronological order, working backwards in time.
When should you contact us?
Is a payment or bank transaction still not updated after the next time above has passed? Get in touch with us in the chat. Provide the client, account number and date for what you're missing, and we'll look into the synchronisation.
